Expansive dark berry liqueur and bitter cherry flavors become smoky and meaty with air, gaining depth and structure too. The finish is surprisingly fresh and focused, with a strong cracked pepper note that lingers tenaciously. Really benefits from aeration, suggesting that this youngster should be stashed away for a while.
